Whale sharks only come to Cancun waters from May to September, due to their size, they never swim near the beach, they can only be seen in the open sea. We will take you by boat to the exact spot where you can dive into the water and swim in close proximity to whale sharks. The whale shark is the largest species of shark, as well as the largest living fish. The largest specimen ever measured was 13.7 m long. Whale sharks can weigh up to 12 tons. Despite their impressive size, the whale shark is not dangerous to humans, as it feeds exclusively on plankton and other small organisms, which it filters by sucking in water. The whale shark is not dangerous to humans, but you should still be careful when swimming with it.
The best place in the world to watch whale sharks is the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, near Holbox Island. 06:45: Gathering at the pier, boarding the boat, coffee
07:00: Departure, briefing: certified guides will provide you with information about whale sharks and explain the rules of conduct during scuba diving
08:00 - 09:00: Arrival in the whale shark habitat. We put on equipment and jump into the water; two people at a time with one guide. You will swim as close to the sharks as you want, as long as you do not interfere with their natural behavior. Each couple of guests will be able to dive into the water as many times as they want. When everyone has dived to their heart's content, we head back. We are heading for the best adventure with the biggest fish in the world!
