The hotel comprises 42 two-story villas built on natural slopes, comprising 115 beautifully appointed rooms. Many rooms feature private pools and terraces, and all rooms have a personal valet. Each room features works by artisans from around the country, including Oaxaca, Mexico City, Jalisco and Puebla. Carefully selected combinations of solid wood and stone create a sense of natural tranquility in the suites.
The hotel features the unique 2,745 square meter Alkemia Spa, which offers a variety of luxurious spa treatments with a local twist. Highlights of the resort include Casa Privada, a private spa within a spa designed for couples or small groups, and Templo de Calor, a modern take on Mexico’s ancient temazcal ceremonies.
The resort features four award-winning restaurants: Humo, El Barrio, X, and Candil Agave. Humo is rustic yet sophisticated, with stunning views of the Gulf of California.
